Visit BBC Folk & Acoustic for news, reviews, festival listings and the unique Virtual Session where users can play along with top musicians recorded especially for the project. You can link to the Folk & Acoustic message board for chat on all things folk/roots, and to the dedicated mini-sites for the Folk Awards and Young Folk Award. There's also the Mike Harding showpage where you can read Mike's blog along with the weekly playlist and programme information.

BBC RADIO BALLADS 2006 WEBSITE

In 2006 the company was commissioned by BBC Radio 2 to produce the 2006 Radio Ballads, in the mold of the groundbreaking series produced by Ewan MacColl and Charles Parker in the 1950s. Smooth Operations also produced a website to accompany the series. Visit the site for details of all the shows including songwriter details, audio clips, photo galleries, videos, extracts from the original 1950s Ballads and details of the Radio Ballads Live performance at Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival in February 2007.

BBC COUNTRY WEBSITE

Smooth Operations provided content for the BBC Country website from its inception in July 2001 until its demise, due to BBC restructuring, in August 2003.
